Seit mehr als dreißig Jahren lotet Thomas Huber (* 1955) in seinen meist architektonisch geprägten Bildräumen verschiedene Erscheinungs- und Wirkungsweisen eines Bildes aus. Der Band präsentiert vorwiegend neu geschaffene Arbeiten des in Zürich geborenen und in Berlin lebenden Künstlers, die sich auf den Horizont als Konstante aller perspektivisch konstruierten Bilder sowie als Metapher für eine Grenze zwischen Sichtbarkeit des Motivs und Unsichtbarkeit des mit ihnen verbundenen künstlerischen Diskurses beziehen. Texte von und ein Gespräch mit Thomas Huber veranschaulichen die systematische Bilder-Lehre des Künstlers.
