From the dust jacket: The survival of the traditional arts of Africa has been jeopardized by the rapid developments that have taken place.For the last 20 years, the author.has been involved in a fascinating experiment: he has been trying to reinvigorate traditional Yoruba art by adapting it for use in a modern context.
